The RIEDEL Veritas New World Pinot Noir / Nebbiolo / Rosé Champagne is specially designed for delicate, aromatic red wines as well as rosé champagnes.
Its tulip shape with a slightly flared opening encourages the development of fruity aromas while balancing acidity and softening the perception of alcohol. Developed in collaboration with producers from Oregon in the United States, this glass particularly highlights the finesse and freshness of New World Pinot Noir.
Its wide bowl allows the bouquet to develop fully, while the slightly open rim directs the wine to the front of the palate to accentuate the fruit and aromatic balance.
A demanding, refined grape and the king of Burgundy, Pinot Noir makes delicate wines with fine tannins and aromas of strawberry, cherry, forest floor and sweet spice. A large-bowled glass — often called a 'Bourgogne grand cru' — concentrates those ethereal aromas and keeps the palate fresh, which this subtle variety needs.
The finesse of hand-blown, with machine precision
Veritas offers the elegance and lightness of hand-blown glass with the consistency and price of machine-blown. Ultra-thin walls, ideal for everyday tasting of fine wines.
The Austrian art of the wine glass since 1756.
Riedel is the Austrian house that revolutionized modern wine service by creating the first grape-specific glass. Each shape is designed to direct the wine to the optimal zone of the tongue and release the bouquet of that style.
