Coravin Timeless pours wine through the cork, without opening the bottle: one glass today, and the rest keeps for weeks, months, even years, according to Coravin.
A precision needle passes through the natural cork, which reseals when the needle is withdrawn. The wine is poured and replaced with pure argon, an inert gas that protects it from oxygen. One capsule serves about 15 glasses of 150 ml.
The standard needle suits natural corks and several agglomerated corks. The fast-pour needle pours up to 20% faster; the thinner Millésimes needle is gentle on the fragile corks of older bottles.
Timeless screw caps replace the original cap and let you keep these bottles for up to six months. The Six+ models (silver, Burgundy or piano black) include these screw caps and the Timeless aerator, comparable to 60 to 90 minutes in a decanter according to Coravin.
