Handcrafted in the Claude Dozorme workshops in Thiers, the Design champagne sabre with black guard reinterprets a historic tradition through a distinctly modern aesthetic. Its monochromatic silhouette and commanding character bring distinction to weddings, anniversaries, achievements and other memorable celebrations.
The broad black guard elegantly surrounds the hand and gives the sabre a sculptural presence reminiscent of ceremonial swords. Its carbon handle extends the contemporary aesthetic while providing a comfortable and well-balanced grip.
The matte black blade is crafted from premium X50CrMoV15 stainless steel, selected for its strength and durability. Its intentionally unsharpened edge is designed to travel along the bottle’s seam and release the neck with a firm movement, following the traditional sabrage technique.
The decorative cavalry knot recalls the way members of Napoleon’s Imperial Guard once secured their weapons around the wrist. This historic detail creates a striking contrast with the sabre’s modern lines and reinforces its ceremonial character.
Measuring 50 cm and weighing approximately 410 g, this model includes an oak display stand and an instructional booklet dedicated to the art of sabrage. Presented in a Claude Dozorme box, it is simultaneously a celebration accessory, a distinctive decorative object and an exceptional expression of French cutlery craftsmanship.
