A silicone material used inside the stopper produces a vacuum area in the bottleneck, prevents loosing the carbon and keeps the sparkling wine fizzy for a long time. To open, just press and screw. A bottle will be sealed hermetically and the stopper will not be released under the pressure, regardless the position of the bottle.
