Laguiole refers to a style of knife and a French cutlery tradition, not a single brand. We carry three makers: Fontenille Pataud, Château Laguiole and Forge de Laguiole.
Take a well-chilled bottle, remove the foil and the wire cage, then find the seam in the glass. Hold the bottle at an angle and slide the blade flat along the seam up to the lip: the neck comes off in one stroke. Always point the bottle away from people.
Wash it by hand and dry it right away. Do not put it in the dishwasher, which damages wood and horn handles.
